Finding A Website Hosting Provider

Everyone agrees that you need to find a website hosting provider pretty early on in your quest to make money on line.

Don’t let that freak you out because it’s really straightforward and easy. When I started online I knew NOTHING about websites-I had written content for my offline marketing companies sites, but never any of the technical stuff.

Now I can build sites, FTP files, build SEO back links and even write some basic HTML code! It still astounds me that I can say that:)

I know this site is no big deal, but I built it entirely on my own and the whole thing cost me less than $20. The monthly nut moving forward to keep it running is less than $10 per month.

Anyway you can use whoever you want but my recommendation is Hostgator. Choose the “Baby Croc” package-best price/options combo. You can look around, but these guys are cheap and good and easy to deal with.

Hint-the tech support just depends on who answers the phone, so if you get someone who doesn’t sound competent or is less than cooperative, just hang up and call back until you do. I have had some awesome experiences and some poor ones.

Don’t be afraid to ask then anything. There is no such thing as a stupid question and believe me I sure asked some (still do!).

My final thought is something I didn’t learn for a while and now it feels so obvious.

Anyone who is making good money on line has multiple websites and multiple domain names (some have “hundreds”). That’s the reason the Baby Croc package is the best. For short money you get unlimited domain hosting and e-mail addresses.

You’ll be glad you knew this in a few months!

Peace
Mark
